Machine Operators (Morning & Night Shifts)

Permacon is a leading North American manufacturer of concrete products serving the landscaping and masonry markets. The company operates 8 production facilities across Quebec and Ontario and employs more than 250 people throughout its various sites. Permacon is a division of Oldcastle Architectural. We are currently looking for a Machine Operator for both rotating day/night shift and for the weekend shift at our Metcalfe plant in southern Ottawa, located at _6860 Bank Street, Ottawa, ON K0A 2P0._
Follow quality manual. Complete quality and production reports. Clean up tasks as required, like cleaning Press / Mixer;
Participate in the Rekers department housekeeping. Communicate to competent people any abnormalities or faulty situations regarding the product, quality, machine, equipment, workplace or other;
Wear safety personal protective equipment as required for this position and work safely.
High school diploma;
Wielding, mechanic, hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge will be an asset;
At least 2 years' experience in the manufacturing industry operating equipment;
Team work oriented, Mechanical aptitude, initiative; responsible, able to react, be precise;
Shall pass the mechanical aptitude test to validate mechanical aptitude;
An hourly rate of 29.59 $;
