Reception & Admin Assistant (Temp)

Job Description

We are seeking a professional organized and personable Receptionist to join our legal team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors providing exceptional front-line service and administrative support in a busy law office environment. This is a temporary placement covering a vacation.

Training day November 7th. Coverage is November 12-21 and December 1-5 2025.

Key Responsibilities

Greet clients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner

Answer and direct incoming calls take accurate messages and manage voicemail

Monitor and respond to general email inquiries

Confirm client appointments and maintain meeting room calendars

Receive sort and distribute mail and courier deliveries

Prepare outgoing correspondence and courier packages

Assist with filing photocopying and other general administrative duties as required

Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area

Qualifications and Skills

Previous experience in a professional office environment (legal experience considered an asset)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word Outlook Excel)

Professional demeanor and polished interpersonal skills
