Teaching Instructors

The College is currently seeking a dynamic and competent individual for the position of Instructor Respiratory Therapy. Position Type: Part-time Term (18.125 hours per week)
Duration: January 2026 to June 2026
Salary Range: $33.85 to $47.70/hour (successful candidates may be eligible for a higher maximum step up to $52.08/hour based on their level of post-secondary education).
You will be collaborating with and reporting to the Academic Chair of Allied Health as a member of the faculty team you are responsible for planning and preparing instructional materials and resources; building and sustaining professional relationships with students colleagues community partners and stakeholders; Adult chronic care
Adult critical care
Medical terminology
You will also supervise students completing off-site clinical rotations. You will be willing and able to integrate technology and active student learning techniques into teaching practices.
Education/Experience:
A minimum of a two-year diploma from a CMA or CoARTE accredited respiratory therapy program or a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Respiratory Therapy) degree or an equivalent.
You must be a registered respiratory therapist licensed to practice with the New Brunswick Association of Respiratory Therapists.
The successful candidate will be required to provide proof of immunization and criminal background check with vulnerable sector screening.
Highly flexible with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to navigate and build relationships effectively throughout the organization.
Assets:
Preference may be given to candidates who have experience teaching in a post-secondary environment.
Preference may be given to candidates with a minimum of five (5) years of recent respiratory therapy experience.
Candidates must clearly demonstrate how they meet these qualifications on their resumes.
