Teaching Instructors

Position Type: Casual
Salary: $33.85 to $52.08 per hour based on the experience and level of post-secondary education.
As part of the School of Professional and Part-time Learning and reporting to the Business Development Operations Manager you will be responsible for the planning and preparation of instructional materials and resources; building and sustaining professional relationships with students colleagues community partners and stakeholders; Planning : Understand the principles and planning of energy storage projects
Learn system sizing configuration and performance considerations
Installation : Commissioning : Test and verify systems for operational readiness
Monitor maintain and optimize system performance
The successful incumbent will be willing and able to integrate technology and active student learning techniques into teaching practices.
Education/Experience:
Diploma or degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred) or a valid Red Seal in the trades of Steel Fabrication Welder/Fitter or Welder and related and recent work experience at the Journeypersons level.
Candidate must possess a CSA W 178.2 - Level 2 Welding Inspector Certificate.
Experience working in Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control.
Highly flexible with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to navigate and build relationships effectively throughout the organization.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
