Maintenance and Warehouse Assistant

Randstad is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Team Member to join the team of a premier leader in Canadian meat manufacturing. Material Coordinator (Maintenance Team Member)
Straight day shift to start: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM - Monday to Friday
Must have flexibility to go on a rotation shift:
First shift. Second Shift 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Third shift 4:00 pm to 12:30 am
*Two week rotation: Midnight, Afternoon, Days
Temp to perm opportunity
- Accessible by transit or via free on-site parking.
- Competitive weekly pay schedule.
Process parts/materials requests
- Stock bin locations with spare parts
- Create bin locations physically and in SAP
- Compare physical stock count to SAP stock
- Conduct inventory cycle counts including physical counts
- Maintaining vendor information attached to material part numbers
- Verifying that parts/materials received conform to the PO and are in good condition
- Purchasing if the quantity of parts/materials does not correspond to the PO or are damaged
- Identify new, used, broken and refurbished spare parts in the warehouse and track in SAP
- Assist to resolve shortfalls in Inventory levels
- Maintain required stock levels of consumables
- Participate in regular strategy planning sessions.
- Ensuring all Chemicals have been approved before releasing into stock
Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office suite considered a strong asset.
- Ability to quickly learn SAP
