The Baycrest Academy for Research and Education (BARE) brings together world-leading research, education and academic partnerships to transform how the world understands and experiences aging. As the academic home of Baycrest, BARE prepares the next generation of professionals in aging and brain health through interprofessional education, simulation-based learning and immersive training.

The Division of Neurology and the Baycrest Sam & Ida Ross Memory Clinic have an opportunity for an on-site Research Coordinator. The Division of Neurology provides clients with timely, quality, evidence-based medical care, guided by the mission and principles of Baycrest and University of Toronto, regulated by the Ministry of Health & Long-Term Care, to the standards set out by the College of Physicians of Ontario, & within the Baycrest Medical Staff by-laws and Canadian Council on Health Services Accreditation guidelines.
Serves as primary contact for multiple studies/sites
Assists with data collection
Serves as a liaison to physicians, investigators, participants and other staff members regarding the research process
Assists with and reviews Research Ethics Board documents
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in health sciences, neuroscience, psychology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Prior experience conducting or supporting research studies in cognition, memory, dementia, or related fields
- Experience with data capture applications (e.g. At Baycrest, we take pride in ensuring our compensation structure is internally equitable and compliant with pay equity legislation.
