Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. Duties
Assist the Executive Chef in planning and directing food preparation and cooking activities.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow.
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations.
Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menu items that align with restaurant concepts.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and restaurant policies.
Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality before serving.
Handle any kitchen-related issues that arise during service, ensuring a smooth operation.
Experience
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Experience in restaurant management, including inventory control and menu planning.
Excellent culinary skills with a passion for cooking and hospitality.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
