Full-Time WAREHOUSE MANAGER

This is a full-time permanent position working 75 hours bi-weekly. Relocation may be provided.

The Corporations branches work to support the Yukons food and beverage industry cannabis market and local liquor producers through a range of programs and services. We continuously evolve our business structure to improve the way we operate our Whitehorse Liquor Store central warehouse and five rural community Liquor Stores in Dawson City Faro Haines Junction Mayo and Watson Lake. help us to advance the Corporation and serve Yukon!
This position is responsible for directing and managing the operation and maintenance of all aspects of the Yukon Liquor Corporations 50000 square foot central warehouse which includes directing and controlling the receipt warehousing shipping distribution and safe keeping of approximately 2000 different liquor and cannabis products.
This role will supervise the Assistant Warehouse Manager Warehouse staff and Sales and Distribution staff who are responsible for all product shipments destined to 6 Yukon Liquor Corporation (YLC) retail stores 150 licensed establishments music festivals beer festivals wine festivals and other permitted special events.

Recent extensive experience leading managing and supporting entry-level warehouse workers.
Considerable experience briefing senior management on warehouse operations including challenges and continuous improvements.
Considerable experience drafting contracts and managing contractors.
Bachelors degree with an emphasis in supply chain management logistics business or related is an asset
Candidates who have education training and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.

Class 5 Yukon Drivers License and Security Clearance.
When in Warehouse steel toed boots must be worn.
This position is in Whitehorse Yukon and requires you to work in the office. Remote work is not available for this role.
