Millwright (Production Mechanic)

Schwartz seeks an experienced Millwright Mechanic to play a critical role in the day to day operations of the plant.

Industry: chemicals and packaging
Equipment: mixing and blending tanks, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, conveyors, and packaging equipment
Shift: 1st shift, 7:00am - 3:30pm
Overtime: occasionally
Group medical & dental, 4% RRSP contribution

production machines, conveyors, fillers, tube fillers, packaging equipment, mixers, DC controls.
Plant supporting systems, as well as infrastructure.
Provide machine set ups, provide technical guidance to operators, document and author maintenance records and procedures.
Ongoing preventative maintenance and continuous improvement.
Establish relationship with vendors, maybe be required to requisition parts, materials and coordinate vendor support.
Perform routine maintenance work on machinery.
Strong troubleshooting skills with an innovative approach to solving mechanical problems.
Very strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge.
Must be self motivated, with basic computer skills such as email and word document (Microsoft Suite).
Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
Trade Certification experience an asset.
