Reservation Manager Part-Time

Job Responsibility:
Job Overview:
This role is for a working manager at Canada's #1 Escape Room. You will be required to fulfill the normal gamemaster role in addition to some added responsibilities.
Our game masters have to work with a variety of customers to ensure that they have a good experience while they're with us. They must provide top-of-the-line customer service, regardless of the makeup or outcome of every customer that walks through the door.
Normal Gamemaster Responsibilities:
Providing high quality and friendly service and guidance to groups throughout their experience with us.
During a customer's experience with us, our gamemasters are required to stand in front of a group of customers, explain the rules of the experience, explain how the experience/puzzles work, and answer any customer questions. In the case of running our scary rooms, live acting (scaring) is required unless customers opt out of it.
Provide hints or assistance to customers as they play the escape rooms via our gamemaster software, walkie talkie, in-room assistance, or some combination of those.
Take payment from customers for retail, escape rooms, or other products.
Mediating customer disputes as they arise.
Answer customer questions in a thorough and friendly manner.
Reset the escape rooms to their original state as needed.
Cleaning and maintaining escape rooms.
Learn safety protocols and ensure that guests are acting appropriately.
Opening and closing the store as needed.
Misc. duties as required.
Additional Managerial Responsibilities:
Direct/train existing and new employees as per company vision provided by owners.
Create employee schedules as required.
Handle employee disputes/issues as they arise.
Act as an effective and reliable middle-ground between owners and employees.
Manage customer questions, emails and disputes as needed and in a timely manner.
Balance employee relations to maintain a caring but still effective leadership role.
Write-up, lay off and fire employees as required.

Pay: $18.50-$19.50 per hour
