Recruitment Specialist (H/F) (Human Resources)

About the Role OpenLoop is looking for a Senior Recruiter to join our team remotely or at HQ in Des Moines, IA. In this role, you will own and drive the end-to-end recruitment process, from building talent strategies to closing top candidates. You’ll partner closely with leaders across the business to understand workforce needs, proactively source diverse talent, and design recruiting strategies that scale with our growth. As a Senior Recruiter, you’ll balance being a trusted advisor to hiring managers, a champion of the candidate experience, and a mentor to junior members of the recruiting team.
The ideal candidate brings proven recruiting expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to influence and guide hiring decisions at all levels.
Lead full-cycle recruiting across multiple departments, from intake with hiring managers to offer negotiations and closing candidates.
Partner with department heads and senior leadership to forecast hiring needs and shape talent acquisition strategies that align with business goals.
Source and engage passive talent through creative, proactive outreach; build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles.
Conduct candidate interviews and assessments, ensuring alignment with role requirements, organizational culture, and long-term potential.
Partner with HR/People Operations on recruiting operations, reporting, and continuous process improvements.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 4–6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted partnerships with senior leaders and advise on hiring decisions.
- Strong sourcing skills using ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other recruiting tools.
- Experience improving recruiting processes or implementing best practices at scale.
