Operation Management Officer

We are seeking seven highly professional and Bilingual (French/English) Operations Officers II to join the Credit Centre Adjudication team in Montréal. This role is essential to the Real Estate Secured Lending (RESL) funding process, ensuring that all necessary information is captured and verified for timely mortgage and loan funding. This is a 6-month contract with strong potential for both extension and permanent conversion, offering a fantastic opportunity to build a long-term career within a leading financial institution.
Work Location: Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day WFH) at Montréal.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, standard business hours (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
As a Bilingual Operations Officer II, you will act as a critical link between adjudication and funding. You will manage a balanced workload consisting of both back-office processing and active telephone communication with branch partners. Your primary focus will be on the "customer-centric" delivery of real estate secured lending products, ensuring that all documentation is compliant and that funding occurs within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Process real estate secured lending files for funding, ensuring all regulatory and internal requirements are met.
Maintain professional relationships with branch partners through clear, active listening and effective communication to resolve issues and manage expectations.
Problem Resolution: Use sound judgment and analytical skills to address operational challenges and customer concerns efficiently.
Actively support team goals and drive continuous improvement through an accountable and service-oriented mindset.
Full professional fluency in both French and English (written and verbal).
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience (Operations, Customer Service, or Administrative).
Performance Focus: Proven track record of working effectively within a Service Level Agreement (SLA) environment.
Soft Skills: High emotional intelligence, empathy, and patience to deliver positive experiences in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in Banking, Accounting, or Bookkeeping.
Prior knowledge of Mortgage or Real Estate lending processes.
Experience in a "Back-office and Phone" hybrid environment.
