What you would engage in: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Engineer with a strong background in civil earthworks. with hands-on experience in both design and site-based projects. The role is based in Sudbury ON, but may support fly-in-fly-out from one of our designated office locations. Lead and manage civil earthworks projects from conception through to completion, ensuring adherence to project specifications and standards.

Perform site inspections and provide on-site engineering support to ensure construction activities comply with design plans, contract commitments and safety regulations.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including clint, engineers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality project outcomes.

Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and recommend solutions to keep projects on track and within budget.

Review dam safety instrumentation data/readings and provide recommendations.

Prepare and review technical reports, documentation, project proposals, construction summary reports, and drawings.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, standards, and best practices in civil earthworks and construction engineering.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil earthworks, including both design and site-based roles.

Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects.

Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.

Proficiency in engineering software and tools used in design and project management.

Commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of work.

An ability to find creative solutions and know how to present them.

Demonstrate that you are flexible and seek solutions rather than focus on problems.
