For more information about Shoemaker or our family of companies, please visit us online at Shoemaker Drywall Supplies and Position Summary Drivers are responsible for the safe operation of a commercial vehicle in the transportation and placements of building materials on customer job sites. Drivers must also assist with onsite delivery requiring physical labour in all weather conditions. Deliver materials to the assigned area as directed by the customer.
Prioritize personal safety and the safety of those around you.
Communicate professionally with customers, co-workers, and trades on site.
Prepare trucks for reloading and assist warehouse staff as needed.
Verify load security and accuracy.
Act as an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers.
Follow all regulations, company policies, and procedures.
Valid Class 5 driver's license with clean driver's abstract.
Pulling, pushing, bending, and twisting movements to transfer building materials between truck and job site.
