The Assembly Technician will be required to perform tasks involving fan assembly and packaging in a manufacturing environment, and will be required to operate a variety of hand and power tools. Responsibilities will include the preparation of fan components, the assembly of fan modules, and the packaging of fan units. The Assembly Technician will be responsible for the efficient assembly of products according to established procedures, following all safety protocols and workplace policies.
Read instructions and wiring diagrams to assemble fans properly.
Complete Pre-Assembly Checklist on all components before Assembly.
Assemble fan components, modules, and other products as required following Rosenberg Fans Canada Ltd. and manufacturer assembly instructions and safety guidelines.
Terminating wiring connections of fans.
Crimping wire connections.
Safe operation of various hand and power tools required for assembly and testing of products.
Package fans in a protective manner for safe shipment to the customer.
Maintain a safe work area, adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE), such as safety boots, is mandatory.
Regularly works in an indoor environment near moving mechanical parts.
