We’re expanding our Risk team and looking for a customer-focused problem solver to join as a Risk Analyst . In this role, you'll be instrumental in protecting Relay and our customers from potential fraud risks. As a key member of a high-impact team, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape new processes, safeguard Relay users, and champion the success of SMBs.

We are a hybrid environment and choose to collaborate in the office three times a week. We are looking for people who have flexibility and are open to working Canada/US statutory holidays.
Perform regular risk assessments to understand the potential risks that could impact the financial and operational health of the business
Analyze data to identify patterns and trends that could suggest future risks
Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies
Prepare risk management and postmortem reports for internal stakeholders
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends, developments in the fintech space, and changes in regulations that could impact the company's risk profile
Assist with the development and implementation of risk management policies and protocols
Contribute to the development of risk models for new products and services
You have 2+ years of experience in risk management, preferably within the fintech or banking industry
You understand financial principles and risk management practices
You’re proficient in risk assessment and prediction software
