Interaction/Visual Designer

Title: Product Designer Rate: $45-50 per hour, T4
12+ months, fulltime hours per week
You will partner with product managers, engineers, researchers, and visual designers to define user flows, build and maintain design systems, and validate solutions through usability testing and analytics.
Create interaction patterns, user flows, personas, journey maps, task flows, and storyboards to communicate design rationale.
Produce wireframes, low- and high-fidelity prototypes, and interactive mockups for web and mobile (responsive-first approach).
Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to translate designs into production, ensuring feasibility and fidelity with front-end technologies.
Iterate rapidly using sketching, rapid prototyping tools, and motion design to convey interactions and transitions.
Communicate design decisions clearly through presentations, design specs, and handoffs (Zeplin/Storybooks/Docs).
3+ years of professional experience in interaction design, UX, or product design (portfolio required showing process and outcomes).
- Proven experience running user research, usability testing, heuristic evaluation, card sorting, and tree testing.
- Strong skills in interaction design, information architecture, user flows, personas, journey mapping, and task flows.
- Hands-on experience with responsive and mobile design, visual design, motion/CSS animations and micro-interactions to communicate intent.
