Candidates are invited to apply for the position detailed below Extendicare Michener Hill, a continuing care facility located in Red Deer Alberta. This facility is home to 220 Continuing Care beds and 60 Designated Assisted Living Beds. Reporting to: Director of Care
Registered nurses use critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills to provide compassionate and safe patient care.
Planning and organizing work
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
- Customer focus
- Proficiency with computers
- Comprehensive knowledge in areas of wound management, infection control, dementia care, least restraint, and zero lift practices
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program
- CPR and First Aid Certification considered an asset
