As a Perception Developer Coop as part of Perception team at
you will work on the development, testing and maintenance of the core robotics software that drives vehicles at sites all around the world. You will develop systems and working with cutting edge algorithms while ensuring stability of performance and quality. The Perception Team's primary responsibility is the development of the core robotics software responsible for environmental sensing and understanding on all of our vehicles. Support the deployment and testing of new tools, either online or offline
Collecting and managing datasets related to specific robot performance goals
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
Legal authorization to work in Canada is required. Experience working with sensors and sensor data such as 3D cameras, Lidar and IMUs.
Strong software development skills in modern C++ and Python.
Experience with automated software testing and continuous integration.
Proficiency with Linux.
Understanding of software development workflows, life cycles and development methodologies and tools.
Experience with testing through simulation.
Familiarity with linear algebra and nonlinear optimization techniques and libraries such as Ceres, GTSAM, g2o and Eigen.
For this role, the Base Salary Compensation is from $18-32/hourly.
