As an Arbutus Room Breakfast Cook, you play an important role in creating a smooth, organized, and high-quality morning experience for our guests. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the pace of breakfast service, takes pride in consistency, and thrives in a team-oriented kitchen environment.
Prepare, cook, and plate breakfast and brunch menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Support smooth kitchen operations through strong communication and teamwork
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and consistency throughout service
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and FIFO standards
- Contribute to a positive kitchen culture built on professionalism, respect, and teamwork
Minimum 1 year of professional kitchen experience
- Breakfast or brunch experience considered an asset
- Food Safe Level 1 certification preferred
- Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
21–$25 per hour + gratuities, based on experience and skill level
$300 Hiring Bonus after successful completion of the three-month probationary period
- Free staff meal each shift
