Job Responsibility:
We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Alibi Catering. From the same group that brought Jones Bar-B-Que and the Ruby, comes Alibi Catering. Alibi catering offers an elevated dining experience for any occasion, from office lunches to weddings, to backstage at music festivals. Alibi catering's unique aesthetic and passion for food is evident in our execution and guest feedback.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and hospitality, with experience in the food industry and meal preparation. Be able to learn and execute menu items, contribute creatively and be able to assist in off-site events.
Duties- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes for events and gatherings- Ensure food safety standards are met during all stages of food handling and preparation- Set up catering stations, serve guests, and clean up after events
Skills- Proficiency in kitchen operations and food preparation techniques- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations- Experience in the food service industry or restaurant environment is preferred- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
