Permanent Maths Teacher

The Renfrew County Catholic District School Board is seeking qualified and committed educators to fill Long Term Occasional (LTO) teaching assignments. LTO teachers play a vital role in providing continuity of instruction and student support during extended staff absences. These positions offer the opportunity to work collaboratively in a Catholic learning environment that values faith-based education academic excellence and student well-being.
Deliver and assess curriculum expectations in alignment with the Ontario Ministry of Education guidelines across a range of grade levels;
Foster a classroom culture that promotes equity belonging and student voice;
Establish positive and respectful relationships with students parents/guardians colleagues and the wider school community;
Participate actively in professional development and collaborative school initiatives;
Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events as appropriate;
Bachelor of Education (.) Valid Certificate of Qualification and Registration with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT);
For FSL positions please note that first consideration will be given to applicants with FSL Qualifications and then to applicants who are bilingual;
Additional Qualifications (AQs) in relevant subject areas are considered assets;

Demonstrated knowledge of current educational practices inclusive education and culturally responsive teaching;

Current Ontario College of Teachers Certificate of Qualification in good standing;

Long Term Occasional assignments will terminate as shown above or the return of the permanent teacher but no later than June 26 2026. As a condition of employment all successful candidates will be required to provide a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) in accordance with the Education Act. Commitment to Equity:
