Job Responsibility:
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical work, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of electrical schematics, blueprints, and the ability to work with various power tools and hand tools. The Journeyperson Electrician will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations meet safety standards and regulations.
Duties
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
Troubleshoot electrical issues using logic controllers and other diagnostic equipment.
Renovate existing electrical systems as needed to improve functionality or comply with updated codes.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards during installation and maintenance activities.
Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within specifications.
Perform low voltage wiring installations for various applications.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Journeyperson Electrician or similar role in the electrical field.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage applications.
Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
Familiarity with various hand tools and power tools used in electrical work.
Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues using logical reasoning.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members and clients.
Valid electrician's license or certification as required by local regulations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Overtime
Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
Expected start date: 2025-03-18
