Disability Support Worker

As a Disability Support Worker you will be providing person-centred active support to people living with disability. Supported Independent Living (SIL) is supporting people with disability in shared housing or in their own home providing various supports including personal care and daily living assistance.
We are currently looking to fill 4 permanent part time positions. Thursday 11pm to 7am (Active Overnight)
Saturday 1:30pm to 11pm
Saturday 2pm to 7pm
Sunday 2pm to 7pm
Thursday 10pm to 6am (Active Overnight)
Saturday 2pm to 7pm
* Please Note: It is important to understand that our clients needs and their support plans can change which also means that our roster lines may change and will be confirmed at the time of offer.
Support clients with mental health challenges complex needs high behaviours and HIDPA requirements
Provide safe personal care and manual handling support including wheelchair assistance
Bowel care ventral feeding ventilators wound management medication and seizure management
Drive a 12-seater van/mini bus to support client outings and appointments
Incorporate music therapy and other creative approaches into client support
Ability to use basic technology and software on a mobile and desktop
including but not limited to a National Criminal History Record Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
