Part-Time Front Desk Agent

Job Responsibility:
Dawson Co-op invites applications for the position of Receptionist (PT) to join our team at our Administrative Office located in Dawson Creek, British Columbia.
Reporting to the Finance Controller, the Receptionist is responsible for welcoming and greeting members, receiving payments on account, answering and redirecting incoming phone calls, scanning and photocopying documents, receiving and sorting daily mail, and providing support for other administrative functions as required.
Key Job Responsibilities

Ensure outstanding and courteous customer service is provided at all times.
Perform reception duties, including answering phones and front counter.
Perform various office duties as assigned, such as typing, copying, filing, scanning, emailing, etc.
Receive payments and provide general information to customer inquiries.
Support audits of cash ups and deposits, including cash desk duties, as needed.
Organize and maintain the front office reception area, ensure supplies are stocked and cleanliness standards are maintained.
Receive, sort, and send mail as required.
Cross train with various office tasks and provide coverage when required.
Be familiar with and adhere to all policies of the Dawson Co-op.
Be eager and open-minded to learn new processes.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous work experience as a receptionist or similar role considered a strong asset
Exceptional customer service skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Hands-on experience with office equipment such as scanners and photocopiers
Strong organizational skills
Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Professional attitude and appearance
Basic knowledge Microsoft Office products
Ability to develop rapport with members
Able to work independently and be a team player when applicable
