Your new company You will be joining a leading real estate organization that is redefining the standard for purpose-built rental communities in Canada. This company is known for its entrepreneurial spirit, commitment to hospitality, and focus on creating vibrant, inclusive communities. The role is based in Vancouver and centres on managing a landmark development that blends modern living with cultural heritage, sustainability, and community engagement.
As the maintenance manager, you will be leading and supporting the maintenance team for a large-scale mixed-use property. The Maintenance Manager will work with the General Manager to establish contractor and vendor contracts, manage budgets, and work closely with the capital project management team to ensure seamless operations and a pleasant experience for tenants. The Maintenance Manager will ensure that all building systems, including HVAC, mechanical, electrical, life safety, plumbing, and carpentry are maintained and running efficiently.
The ideal candidate takes a customer service approach to maintenance management and has a technical background.
- 6+ years working in Building Operations / Building Maintenance
- Experience in vendor & contractor management.
- Knowledge of Building Systems (HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general carpentry).
- Additional tickets & education are an asset.
- Yardi experience is an asset.
