Our client is an established company in consumer goods manufacturing in the Lower Mainland area.
The Plant Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the consumer goods manufacturing plant. Ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production while meeting quality, delivery, and customer requirements.



Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage day-to-day plant operations and production activities.
• Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved.
• Maintain a strong focus on workplace health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Manage production costs, labour, materials, and plant resources effectively.
• Lead, coach, and develop production leadership and support teams.
• Review, input and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement to meet company metrics and goals.
• Work closely with Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Finance teams.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and manufacturing standards.
• Identify operational issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience, including experience managing a plant or large production operation.
• Strong knowledge of production, quality, maintenance, safety, and continuous improvement practices.
• Experience managing teams and developing frontline leaders.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in consumer goods - food, cannabis, beverage, personal care or a similar manufacturing environment

Salary in the mid 100,000 range, depending on experience.
