Cost Analyst (Nuclear Project)

AtkinsRéalis is in hiring a Cost Controller to join our growing team based in Calgary, Alberta. The Cost Controller will be part of a high-performing project team that will be based in our downtown Calgaryoffice.
Develop and maintain project cost control systems and procedures.
Track and analyze project expenditures against budget and forecast.
Prepare monthly cost reports, variance analyses, and financial dashboards.
Collaborate with project managers and discipline leads to update forecasts and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulatory requirements.
Support procurement and contract management teams with cost-related insights.
Participate in project meetings to provide financial guidance and updates.
Assist in preparing and reviewing invoices, accruals, and cash flow projections.
Maintain accurate records of project budgets, actuals, and forecasts.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in cost control or project accounting, preferably in infrastructure or transit projects.
• Strong understanding of project controls, cost allocation, and financial risk management.
• Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, Primavera, Power BI).
