Human Resources Officer Full Time

About the Role Leaps&Bounds is growing, and so is our Leaps&BoundsHR Managed HR Services practice. We’re looking for a full-time HR Consultant to join our team, supporting clients with consistent, hands-on HR delivery across a range of people, performance, and compliance needs.
This role is ideal for a strong, mid-level HR professional who enjoys both the tactical and advisory sides of HR. You’ll play a key role in delivering day-to-day HR support to clients, building relationships, and ensuring high-quality, practical solutions that align with real workplace needs.
As an HR Consultant, you will:
Provide day-to-day, hands-on HR support across multiple client organizations
Act as a trusted HR partner, supporting leaders and employees on a range of workplace matters
Execute core HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, documentation, and policy implementation
Support employee relations, performance management, and compliance-related matters with sound judgment
Assist with accommodations, leaves, and return-to-work processes
Maintain and update HR documentation, templates, and client records
Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of HR tools, resources, and service delivery approaches
Collaborate with internal team members to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment across client work
5+ years of progressive experience across multiple HR disciplines

• Strong working knowledge of Canadian employment legislation (provincial and federal)
• Experience supporting day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations and performance management
• Ability to balance tactical execution with thoughtful, practical HR guidance
• Microsoft Office)
• Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
• CPHR designation (or working toward it) is an asset
