Business Development Representative - Remote

Unito ( is a software startup that helps work collaboration tools speak to each other. We have transparent and data-backed salaries ( You'll find the salary range associated with this role in the “More on the salary” section below.

The office situation: All employees are based in Montreal where we have our office and can choose to work remotely for part of the week.
We have a 3 step process - a 30min screening call, a 1h interview, and a paid pilot project which is pretty unusual but highly appreciated by our candidates (more on this at the end of this job post).
Start multi-channel prospecting (Call, Email, LinkedIn) by leveraging our AI stack to target high-intent accounts
Enhance our sales capacity by identifying and qualifying new prospects within a portfolio of prospects/customers through outgoing calls
You will not just use these tools; Work as a strategic partner to Marketing & Product, providing market data to improve our ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) and AI messaging accuracy.
Continuously experiment with new AI-driven "Growth Hacks", from social prospecting to new ways of automating research, to keep our outreach motion at the cutting edge.

A solid first sales experience, preferably in B2B software
You are tech and AI savvy: you grasp technical concepts quickly and have been keeping up/experimenting with the latest AI tools.
You know how to move beyond a script to uncover real business pain using frameworks like BANT .
You have excellent oral and written communication skills in English on different channels (phone, email…)
These are not requirements but will likely help you ramp up faster and succeed at Unito.
Experience selling B2B software products
Experience using HubSpot or other CRM tools
Experience with the latest AI tools for personal or professional use
Ability to communicate in French (or desire to learn!)
We decided to share the salary associated with this job posting publicly because pay transparency is at the core of Unito and has a tremendous impact on workplace equity.
We have fully transparent and data-backed salaries. If your salary expectations are higher than the range indicated below , it's probably because you're more senior than what we initially targeted. We're always willing to hire someone more senior if they're the right fit, and we will always pay our staff fairly. Our ideal seniority level: intermediate (level 1.5 to 2.5 in our leveling system (
Level 1.5: Base salary of $56,631 + $28,315 in variable*
Level 2.5: Base salary of $64,915 + $32,457 in variable*

We still have an office and don't intend to give it up because we believe in-person interactions foster creativity and reinforce that sense of community that makes us who we are.
After you go through an initial phone screen and interview, you'll get a chance to work on a paid pilot project to see if Unito's a good fit for you. You'll be working on a real project that Unito needs to get done, not a standardized test. We highly value diversity in all aspects.
