As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and timely movement of products within the supply chain. In the logistics sector, staying ahead of the curve is essential. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will coordinate shipments and work closely with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to meet operational goals. Your expertise will help optimize processes, reduce costs, and maintain high standards of safety and quality throughout all logistics operations. Strategically plan movement of goods by selecting efficient routes and carriers while monitoring shipments for on-time delivery.

• Manage all shipping documentation (incoming/outgoing) and maintain accurate records of transactions and inventory.
• Liaise with external partners to negotiate shipping rates, lead times, and service levels to build strong operational relationships.
• Swiftly resolve discrepancies, disputes, and issues regarding shipping delays or damaged goods.
• Partner with internal departments to assess volume needs and align logistics with consumer preferences.
• Ensure full compliance with transportation laws, safety standards, and regulatory documentation, including permits and licenses.
• Continuous analysis of logistics strategies to identify cost-saving improvements, automation opportunities, and process upgrades.

2-3 years of experience in the transportation industry and/or logistics.

• Knowledge of shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading and customs paperwork.
• Sound knowledge of transportation rules, regulations, and Canadian customs.
• Familiarity with both domestic and international shipping processes is preferred.
