Sharp Industries Ltd. is seeking a Part-Time Safety Coordinator to join our team.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment. This role is perfect for someone who can work independently, stay organized, and ensure safety systems are consistently upheld.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the company's COR (Certificate of Recognition) Safety Program
- Track and manage employee safety tickets and training requirements
- Conduct regular shop and site inspections
- Review safety documentation and paperwork to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Assist in implementing and improving safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid NCSO designation or proof of COR training through the SCSA
- Preference given to candidates with Occupational Health Committee (OHC) Level 1 and Level 2
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license required
- Candidates must currently be located in Canada and legally able to work
