BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE (M/W/D) (H/F)

Our Business Development team is the driving force behind our growth, identifying and engaging potential customers to expand our reach. As an outbound team, we proactively connect with businesses, sparking interest and creating opportunities for our sales team. Through strategic prospecting, personalized outreach, and persistence, we open doors to meaningful conversations with key decision-makers. You will be the first point of contact for prospective customers, playing a critical role in fuelling Riverside’s growth. Your focus will be on researching, identifying, and engaging high-potential leads through outbound outreach, qualifying opportunities, and setting the stage for meaningful sales conversations. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to adapt your message across different channels

Experience with outbound prospecting via cold calls, emails, and social media

A creative approach to outreach, constantly thinking of new ways to engage potential customers

Attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining accurate CRM records and reporting metrics

Flexibility to travel occasionally for conferences and networking opportunities

The role will require one office day every two weeks at our Downtown Toronto office.

The expected base salary range for this role is CAD $60,000-65,000 plus uncapped commission. This posting is intended to build a talent pool for our next Business Development Representative (BDR) cohort, with an anticipated start date around the beginning of April. While this role may not be filled immediately, applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis as we prepare for upcoming hiring needs.
