The Cabinet Assembler position is responsible for ensuring cabinets are constructed in an efficient, systematic fashion meeting client and Archmill Standards. They will produce quality cabinets to specifications as per blueprints and replicate past designs using hand tools and woodworking machines in a manufacturing environment. The Cabinet Assembler will be responsible for knowing and practicing safe working methods and have a strong knowledge of shop practices, procedures, techniques, tools, equipment, quality control and safety equipment. The Cabinet Assembler will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy work area, conducting regular maintenance of tools and machinery, and assisting other team members.
Ensure fittings and other components are of good quality
Operate hand tools, cabinet press, and other woodworking equipment
Contribute and participate in the effective use of the Quality Control System
Understand and comply with all Policies and Procedures
Use of proper Personal Protective Equipment is required
Experience with woodworking/cabinetry/carpentry skills
- Ability to read project specifications, floorplans, etc.
- Ability to work in a team environment with minimum supervision
- A good eye for detail and quality
