As a Service Advisor at Somerville Hino, you are a key point of contact for our customers and an essential link between the service team and the shop. You are customer-focused, organized, and sales-minded, with a strong commitment to keeping our customers safely on the road. You take pride in delivering accurate information, meeting service sales objectives, and ensuring a positive customer experience from start to finish.
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction while recommending appropriate repairs and services based on customer needs.
Present maintenance recommendations and service menus in a clear and professional manner.
Prepare accurate labour and parts estimates and provide realistic timelines for service completion.
Answer incoming service calls professionally and efficiently.
Manage and maintain relationships with repeat customers and oversee assigned accounts.
Coordinate and monitor active service jobs to ensure timely completion.
Act as a liaison between customers, technicians, and the service team to maximize efficiency and results.
Communicate service reminders and follow up with customers as required.
Ensure the service area maintains a clean, safe, and professional appearance.
Proactively reach out to customers for service opportunities and accurately record information in the CRM system.
High school diploma or post-secondary education.
Previous experience as a Truck or Automotive Service Advisor in a dealership environment is preferred.
experience in a truck, automotive dealership, or aftermarket environment is an asset.
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to work independently.
Ability to learn and effectively use company-provided software and systems.
