Cleaning / Janitorial Workers

The hourly wage rate for this position is $17.60 – $17.80 Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Canadian work experience is not a requirement for this role. Please note that artificial intelligence–based tools may be used at certain stages of the recruitment and applicant screening process. A porter is generally responsible for cleaning work including the cleaning of all hard floor surfaces, the cleaning of all surfaces that must be reached by ladder or scaffolding and the collection and removal of garbage from drop points to a garbage bin or compactor.
In large open applications, automatic equipment may be used to perform these functions.
The heavy-duty cleaner will operate the compactor and will be responsible for cleaning the compactor at regular intervals.
Ø Transports maintenance machinery, where necessary, between floors and job sites.
Ø Cleans glass areas requiring ladders, scaffolding or other extension equipment to reach.
Ø Responsibilities may vary depending on the work site location
Ø Attend all required health & safety training
Ø Comply with H&S regulations and company policies
Ø Does not operate any equipment without prior training
Ø Participates in the early and safe return to work process as per our RTW policy
