Plumber (Shift Work)

SALARY : The hourly rate for this role is $4 5.00 per hour

Overtime Eligibility: This position is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable labour laws and pursuant with collective agreement. Overtime is paid at the legally required rate and may vary based on hours worked beyond the standard schedule

SHIFT : Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm

Flexible hours needed; overtime weekend work may be required

Identify parts requirements for work orders to ensure successful planning .

Follow up with vendors on parts availability, obsolete part replacements, upgrades, etc.

Stage parts and specialty tools as per VPO expectations to ensure efficient work order execution.

Maintain parts staging/kitting area(s) as per VPO policies.

Return unused parts to stores as per VPO policies.

Participate and utilize technical skills in the continuous improvement of line efficiencies and maintenance plans.

Participate in continuous improvement of Business Descriptions, Process Maps, SWIs, etc.

Update performance metrics and explanations as needed in team rooms and office spaces.

Plumber – 306A (Red Seal) certification

Demonstrated technical understanding of the process equipment (e.g. pumps, valves, pressure relief, cleaning machines) and specific brewing equipment ( e.g. Demonstrated ability to use computer systems including but not limited to: SAP, Excel, Outlook, Word, Microsoft Suite, web-based applications/tools

Ability to coordinate and be a leader of a cross functional team of technicians (various disciplines) and brewers working on initiatives and projects.

Self-starter with an ability to work with limited supervision.
