Facilities Manager - Immediate Start

Has overall responsibility for the technical performance of building facility systems that support the pharmaceutical manufacturing operations at the Kanata location. Prepares or review estimates, proposals, and manages projects related to the pharmaceutical and nuclear facility systems. Interfaces with the site landlord on nuclear and pharmaceutical facility systems as the single point of contact for BWXT facilities support.

Your Day to Day as a Facilities Manager:

Accountable for the completion of project related to pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, these may include:
nuclear support systems.
replacement of obsolete equipment.
Facility renovations.
Responsible to lead estimation, planning, and vendor selection for projects.
Manages scope, budget, and schedule for approved projects.
Manages field activities.
Accountable for managing BWXT's facilities relationship with the site landlord.
Ensures that the site landlord performs tasks, as required to support manufacturing.
Single Point of Contact for facilities related communication for the Kanata facility.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Physics required

• Leadership/Management Skills
• 10+ years of Pharmaceutical Facilities Maintenance experience.
• Experience with managing service agreements from vendors.
• Experience with construction projects.
• WFI systems, Electrical Distribution, Clean Steam, Pharma HVAC, Nuclear HVAC.

The base salary range for this position in Ontario (CA-ON) at the start of employment is expected to be between $$90,000 and $$140,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits.
