This posting will be used to fill 1 full-time term position (until May 28th, 2027) working 75 hours bi-weekly. Temporary assignments may be considered.
Population and Public Health, Evidence and Evaluation (PPHEE) team, part of the Innovation, Quality and Performance division, brings together a strong and coordinated team skilled at using data and local evidence collaboratively to support policy and decision making with the goal of improving the health and wellbeing of all Yukoners.
The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and a solid background in health and health system data. Familiarity with advanced statistical analysis techniques, particularly in a healthcare context, is highly desirable. Post Secondary education in Computer Science, Health Informatics, Data Science, Statistics or related field
Proficiency with programming languages commonly used in data analysis, such as Python, R, or SQL
Experienced in designing, developing, and implementing data projects of medium to large scale
Experience working with advanced statistical analysis techniques and concepts, and applying them to data sets, ideally in a Health environment
Ability to analyze, manipulate, and troubleshoot information from within and across various data systems.
You must meet the following conditions before being hired, or within the time frame noted.

Occasional travel within and outside Yukon.
