At PPCR, you’ll be part of something bigger: helping us revolutionize the restoration experience while making a real difference. The Carpenter works under the general direction of the Construction Manager to plan and organize the assignments of a project to meet the timeline and expected goals. A Carpenter will work in the warehouse and on-site, depending on the work being completed. Carpenters determine specifications and calculate requirements, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling and joining mouldings, wood materials, drywall and plastics materials, ensuring and meeting the quality standards of Platinum Pro-Claim.

Maintaining professionalism and presenting Platinum Pro-Claim positively to various stakeholders.
Demonstrating skill in the safe operation of shop tools such as a table saw, radial arm saw, power planer, power shaper, router, a wood lathe, airless paint sprayer, large belt sander, band saw, hand saw and an electric drill.
Following all company policy and standards, including health and safety policies and procedures.
Completing the necessary documentation related to a job to ensure a standardized flow to accurately accrue costs of a claim.
Coaching, assisting and delegating other carpenters with job tasks.
Understanding different municipal and provincial building code requirements relevant to a job.

Platinum Pro-Claim Restoration
Certified Journeyman Carpenter (Red Seal) or work experience equivalent.
Possession of a personal van or truck is required for the role (van, minivan or pickup, NO SEDAN or SUV). Ability to work well alone as well as in a team environment.
Practical knowledge of carpentry and building maintenance is preferred.
Basic knowledge of the job is preferred, such as understanding measurements and materials.
Experience in the restoration industry is considered to be an asset.
Strong customer service skills.
