Job Title: Full Stack Engineer Location: Toronto, ON
Contract Duration: 12 months
Rate: CAD$74-84/hr T4
Proficiency in Python for backend service development
LLM application development, including AI agents, tool/function calling, and RAG pipelines
Strong SQL skills
RESTful API design and integration between AI services and backend systems
Cloud LLM deployment (e.g., Ability to fully test implemented solutions, including writing unit tests before UAT
Experience with columnar data formats or analytical databases (Parquet, DuckDB)
Working knowledge of Java enterprise ecosystems
Working knowledge of Unix
Show willingness to learn multiple programming languages.
Identify technical debt and ensure a healthy balance between tech debt reduction and new functionality.
Participate in production governance, monitoring, risk, and control support.
Encourage a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
Demonstrate self‑motivation, enthusiasm, and ability to learn with minimal supervision under pressure.
