Repair Technician (fulltime)

The Repair Technician I must understand and accept the responsibility to ensure the safety of all Olympus products that are repaired by strictly following established processes and procedures. Performs inspections and estimations of customer products received for repairs and troubleshooting.
Uses a variety of small hand tools and test equipment to make repairs and facilitate disassembly and reassembly of the product.
Completes and maintains accurate service records both electronically using the prescribed database and manually.
May also be involved in mixing of glue, data recording, calibration, and cleaning of common areas.
May be required to rotate through different parts of the repair department to ensure proper understanding of the products and the different repairs and inspection techniques.
Meet or exceed repair and quality standard times.
Actively participates and trains in the quality systems, quality improvement and "5S" programs as directed by management.
High School Diploma or equivalent is required. A graduate of a community college (1-2 year program) with a technology concentration preferred.
Minimum of 0–1-year experience doing technical repairs required, preferably in the medical or health care industry
Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English is required. Bilingual French is an asset.
Demonstrated ability to maintain established key performance levels of quality and productivity required.
Must be customer focused with high attention to detail and urgency to meet and exceed expectations.
Proficiency in basic computer skills using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
Expected to maintain acceptable standards for attendance and punctuality, and as a condition of employment, work overtime as needed.

The anticipated base pay range for this full-time position in this location is $20.34-$25.80 per hour, plus potential for annual bonus (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements). Artifical Intelligence is not being utilized in the Olympus hiring process.
