Review and analyze blueprints specifications and roofing project proposals.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for roofing projects including labor materials equipment and permits.
Prepare estimates of probable costs of materials labour and equipment for construction projects based on contract bids quotations schematic drawings and specifications
Perform site visits to gather information and details necessary for accurate estimates.
Negotiate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers contractors and subcontractors
Coordinate with project managers and sales teams to understand project requirements and timelines.
Track and adjust cost estimates based on project changes and updates.
Stay updated on industry trends material costs and competitor pricing.
Bachelor in Civil Engineering or related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in cladding construction façade systems or building envelope projects.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
Proficiencyin Microsoft Office BluebeamPlanSwift Excel andGoNest(or similar estimating/optimization software)
