Firth & Son Limited is a locally owned and operated family business and has been in operation since 1906. We are a very busy insurance brokerage that serves the entire Yukon. We are currently looking for an experienced Insurance Broker to join our team.
This is an in-office position. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years experience as an insurance broker, and a good working knowledge of home insurance as well as both commercial and personal auto insurance. Provide insurance quotes for home, personal auto & commercial auto.
Secure competitive insurance policies with various carriers.
Process new business & policy changes.
Maintain accurate records of client communications, policies, and renewals.
Strong knowledge of home & auto insurance products, policies, and underwriting practices.
Excellent communication & customer service skills.
Ability to assess client needs and recommend suitable insurance solutions.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer issues in a positive manner.
Preference will be given to candidates who have completed their CAIB 1 or Level 1 licensing.
