Industrial Mechanical project Engineer
WSP Global Inc.
Drive industrial innovation as a Mechanical Engineer with WSP in the greater Montréal area. Lead projects in aerospace and mining, guiding design and mentoring junior engineers.
WSP is seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to support its Canada Resources team. This role encompasses mechanical engineering for large-scale industrial projects across Québec. You'll oversee design delivery, ensure quality execution, and maintain regular client communications, playing a key role in shaping the industrial landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead mechanical engineering on major industrial projects
- Prepare plans and specifications for diverse projects
- Produce engineering calculations for equipment layouts
- Oversee tender documents and engineering reports
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians on projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in industrial or mining engineering
- Strong communication skills in French; English is an asset
- ASP Construction safety card required
- Valid driver’s license needed
