Transport Truck Drivers

We are looking for an experienced truck driver to provide service to Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be assisting to serve our supply chain logistics department in a safe and timely manner.
Transport bins to customer locations and transport loads from customers to assigned landfill.
Complete pre-trip inspection on vehicles for mechanical/safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel receipts.
Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
Collect and verify delivery instructions.
Proven experience as a truck driver.
Ability to drive continually during a working day and travel locally.
Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
Must have a minimum of 5 years experience and valid DZ driving license.
Clean driving abstract/CVOR.
Ability to communicate professionally with customers, colleagues, and dispatch.
