Join Our Team as a Manufacturing Systems Technician at Johnson Electric! Location: Mississauga, ON, Canada (onsite) Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It: As our next Manufacturing Systems Technician, you'll be responsible for the maintenance, refurbishment, and repair of all production equipment and facilities as per ISO/TS 16949 system procedures. Your expertise in mechanical assembly, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and controls installation will be crucial in driving our success and pushing the boundaries of what's possible. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager and working with the Operations, Quality, and Engineering departments to maintain and repair facilities and production equipment.
Working with other team members to complete the implementation of new or modified production machines in conjunction with new manufacturing projects.
Ensuring operational quality and efficiency targets are maintained.
Maintaining Quality Operating Systems with respect to equipment maintenance as per ISO/IATF 16949 Standards.
A skilled trade certificate and/or relevant industrial experience.
Hands-on technical skills with respect to Mechanical Assembly, Machine Repair, Electrical Systems, Hydraulic Systems, Pneumatic systems, PLC and CNC based control and logic systems, welding, and basic manual machining skills.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the hands-on repair and maintenance of CNC machining and automated assembly applications in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Understanding of automotive systems and quality requirements based on QS9000 Operating Systems.
