Fresh Start Foods is currently hiring a full-time Machine Operator who is eager to work in a fast-paced team-oriented work environment in our Richmond , BC location. The Machine Operator operates various production, processing, and packaging machines.
Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: $19.75/hour (paid on a weekly basis!)
Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm, Sundays when needed
Operates specific production machines safely and efficiently.
Works with production supervisors and managers to schedule production on specified equipment.
Follows company-standardized pack specifications along with any customer-specified deviations, as communicated through special instructions via work orders/cut tickets.
Perform Quality Control checks and communicate with supervisors and managers any defects.
Communicates with production supervisors and managers regarding any maintenance concerns and PM scheduling.
Offers assistance to other team members.
A machine operator must follow and maintain all Quality Assurance, HACCP, SQF requirements, and Occupational Health & Safety regulations and ensure all employees in their department follow them.
Previous manufacturing experience in a food processing facility
Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
Must be able to work on weekends and holidays
Follows the company's Quality Control procedures
