District Manager - Retail Stores

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Retail District Manager to oversee two retail locations within the GTA. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record in retail sales management. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage budgets, drive sales performance, and enhance customer satisfaction across all stores. As a Retail District Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the success of our retail operations while fostering a positive work environment for your team. The locations are in York and Mississauga.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the overall operations of multiple retail locations to achieve sales targets and operational excellence.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share within the district.
Monitor store performance metrics, analyze trends, and provide actionable insights to improve sales and profitability.
Recruit, train, and mentor store managers and staff to ensure high levels of performance and customer service.
Conduct regular store visits to assess operations, provide feedback, and ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
Manage budgets effectively, ensuring cost control while maximizing resources for optimal performance.
Foster strong relationships with team members, promoting teamwork and collaboration across all levels of the organization.
Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable terms that benefit the district's operations.
Utilize strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently across multiple locations.
Requirements
Proven experience in retail management or a similar leadership role within the retail industry.
Strong mathematical skills for pricing analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Bilingual proficiency is a plus, enhancing communication with diverse teams and customers.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving common goals.

Pay: $47,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
