Position Goal The Laval plant is growing, and we are looking for talented and passionate people to fill the position of Site Assistant. Reporting to the plant manager, the incumbent must ensure that visitors and employees are welcomed while supporting production.

Manage building access through the badge management system.

Manage office supplies

Disseminate messages from departments using appropriate channels and assist in drafting communications when needed.

Assist colleagues with HR-related questions (digital applications, insurance, referrals, payroll issues, etc.) Ensure the transfer of information between the corporate team and the plant (Engagement Champion, Organization Announcement etc).

• Lead the Social Committee and coordinate plant-wide social events (e.g., holiday parties and seasonal activities).
• Create and set up new vendors for the plant in SAP.

Assist with ongoing plant projects.

Education or training in Communications, Administration, Marketing, or similar

• Fully bilingual (written, spoken)
• People focused person (must enjoy planning and organizing social activities, connecting with people)
